You certainly can’t judge a written sermon by those words alone. The preaching can take on a whole new life, can’t it?

Enjoyed your dissertation on “pericope” very much. Hope all is well with you (ankle recovered?). Like your sermons very much. Hope you had a good 4th of July.

I will be visiting Virginia September 16 & 17. It will not seem the same without the Class of 2008, but there are a lot of new SIM scholarship students this year so it will take two days to interview them all.
